A thought escapes — A thought takes root
A thought takes the form of light and shadow. It escapes to the heights, and it grows roots that carry the feet. Or it fans out like spilled liquid.
Visitors enter the Habitare Pro exhibition through a dark tunnel. In the tunnel they are guided by strips of light that form random lines and grow roots into the floor and climb up the walls and the ceiling. A carpet cut into an organic shape resembling a shadow fans out from both ends of the tunnel into the space and out of it.
The heart of the exhibition is a programme area, and at its focal point stands a great white canvas screen, framed with lines of light that escape upwards from the floor level. Below the screen spreads a dark, shadow-like, organic looking carpet. It binds the programme area and sparkling wine bars at the sides together into one continuous lounge space.
