Habitare Design Your Pitch – Pitch Your Design
This workshop is for designers, artists and design students and it helps you pitch your creations to buyers, partners and investors.
The workshop consists of three parts:
1. Pitching and Networking Workshop 10.9.2018
2. Introduction to Business Model – optional, but recommended 11.9.2018
3. Pitching final on the Habitare Arena Stage – only the best ones will be selected 13.9.2018
In today’s world, it is not enough to create perfect products, services or designs, but it is crucial to find the right buyers, partners, investors and/or markets in order to sell them. This workshop will offer the tools for pitching and beyond pitching.

This intensive bootcamp is organized by Aalto University Developing Entrepreneurship (Aalto ENT) together with Habitare, Design Forum Finland, Ornamo and Finlayson with the aim to help designers and artists to improve their communication skills, create perfect pitches and encourage them to network with different stakeholders. Each day, we will have distinguished judges and mentors e.g. Petteri Kolinen (CEO, Design Forum Finland), Joel Roos (Entrepreneur, Investor), Irina Viippola (Design Manager, Fiskars), Pekka Mattila (CEO, Aalto ENT), Jukka Kurttila (Creative Director, Finlayson), Petra Ilonen (Project Manager, Ornamo) and many others. You can expect Finland’s best and biggest design and art firms to be involved and supporting this very unique program, which is aiming at solving a very important struggle: How to sell amazing and high quality art/design from Finland?
Pitching Final on September 13, 2018 at 17:00–18:30 on Habitare main stage Arena
The best pitches will be presented to a panel of judges consisting of potential buyers, partners, and investors.
