Kyrö Distillery Company

The idea of Kyrö Distillery Company, our own rye distillery, started on the sauna rafters, when five friends were sipping American rye whiskey. Kyrö Distillery Company is a distillery that uses only rye, located in the picturesque village of Isokyrö on the banks of the gently flowing Kyrönjoki.

After eleven years of operation, Kyrö has created several award-winning rye whiskeys and rye gins. Kyrö has been a very brand-driven company from the beginning, and innovative graphic design, photography and bottle design are a significant part of the core of the brand.

Many of the visual choices come from local sources. As an example, the font they use in all their products is taken from the Napue battle memorial in Isokyrö and its digital interpretation was made by Anssi Kähärä (creative director and co-founder of Brand Agency Werklig). Many local stories can be seen around the distillery, and you can get to know all of these on a separate design tour at the Kyrö distillery.

In the Habitare Pro Lounge you will find the Kyrö Cocktail Bar. In addition, you can participate in Kyrö’s special tasting during the fair.
