Habitare Pro for professionals

Habitare Pro is the trade show division of the fair and is an enhanced platform dedicated for B2B companies for the business of design.

Providing a unique platform to meet, network and promote business relationships and showcase new products to a targeted audience. We help facilitate business opportunities with leading architect and design industry professionals, developers, buyers, specifiers and press.

Following the success of the Habitare Pro launch in 2023, which increased professional visitor numbers exceeding 100% has solidly reinforced the trade show division of the fair.

Habitare Pro encompasses a central bar, meeting lounge and networking area which is host to the exclusive Pro networking party, plugging you directly into the the Nordic cool design scene.

Habitare Pro is open from Friday to Sunday, September 11 – 15 2024. Design industry professionals and student can visit Habitare free of charge by registering in advance.

Free admission to Habitare for professionals and students in the field

As a professional or student in the design industry you can register to visit Habitare Pro free of charge, by registering in advance or on location. You can visit Habitare on all five event days during normal opening hours.

Networking

During Habitare Pro, several networking events will take place. This is an ideal opportunity to catch up with your industry associates in an informal environment, located in the Habitare Pro Lounge.

Our Pro Lounge is set up for interactions and meetings featuring a central bar, private and group seating areas and interactive tables for making your notes. It is also equipped with meeting pods for those wishing to have a quitter conversation.

Book your meeting place in advance by registering and connecting on our professional platform Tavata. Schedule meetings with professional attendees and reserve your meeting place early to grab the location best suited to you!

Workshops

A selection of industry experts will present a series of workshops where we invite you to meaningfully engage, meet and greet industry experts in a relaxed atmosphere in the Pro meeting lounge. A dedicated workshop space equipped with tables, seats and a projector screen, will be in use to get first-hand knowledge and details of today’s design world products and services. These small workshops offer an ideal environment to ask questions directly from the source without the large audience.

Workshop sessions are free to attend and places are limited to 20. Book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Professional Focus Days

New for this year, Habitare Pro will feature an Architecture focus day and a Buyer focus day featuring content related to these topics. These will be delivered in the forms of Pro Design Talks on the main stage and hands on workshops in the Pro Lounge. In addition, there will be focused sessions such as speed dating where designers and manufactures can meet face to face.

Pro Design Talks

Topical talks will feature inspirational content and in-depth dialogue with industry leaders and selected panellists. Our professional talks program aims to inspire, bring together architects, designers, thinkers and academics.

Our speakers are selected for quality and professionalism in their work and industry including thought leaders, designers, trend analysts in design-led discussions.

Pro Design Talks take place across 3 days from Wednesday to Friday at the main stage. All talks are free to attend and seats are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

The program will be announced on 7 August.

Habitare Pro Party

Join us for an evening of networking, music and complimentary drinks at the Habitare Pro Central Bar and Lounge. The popular Habitare Pro Party brings industry professionals together on the opening night of the event on Wednesday 11 September from 17:30 – 20:30.

In celebration of the Nordic design community, reunite with colleagues and get connected with new faces whilst surrounding yourself with quality design. If you’re lucky enough to receive an invitation, make sure to register in advance.

Many companies participating in Habitare can also be seen in and around the city of Helsinki, showcasing their products and services in their showroom spaces.
