At the end of Habitare’s opening day, Habitare’s Keynote speaker and designer Fredrik Paulsen, designer Tino Nyman, and interior journalist Ulla Solasaari selected the best product, stand, and trend from the offerings at Habitare.

Marimekko
A simple, colorful and playful stand. Smart to use only the product itself as the basic stand-element. There is also enough space to interact with people underneath the beautiful Marimekko-fabrics.

Best product:
Glass table, Essis By Lasilinkki
“New version of traditional elements. Here old and new crashes together beautifully, creating a simple but elegant product. The manufacture of the glass is highly impressive. It’s also delightfully locally manufactured in Kuopio.”
The table was designed by Ulla Koskinen.

Myceen – Carbon-negative materials combining mushroom mycelium and industrial byproducts
