Designed by TAF Studio for contemporary, flexible work and living spaces, String Furniture rolls out a lightweight aluminium trolley that moves between roles

The newly unveiled Museum Trolley extends the modular language of String Furniture into a more mobile form. Designed by Stockholm-based design and architecture practice TAF Studio, it reflects a broader ambition to embed flexibility and creativity into everyday spaces.

Constructed from powder-coated aluminium, the trolley balances a slender frame with a reassuring structural presence. Its two-tier configuration provides a considered amount of surface for tools, objects or books, while maintaining a deliberately light visual footprint.

Set on wheels and steered via a solid handle, it easily moves between rooms and roles, whether as a workstation or a service cart, adapting to the demands of the space as it goes.

Part of the wider Museum Collection, originally conceived for the Swedish National Museum, the design carries forward a language defined by rational proportions and a strong emphasis on function.

In a workspace, it becomes a flexible companion: either as a rolling desk extension, a mobile archive or a compact coffee station. In hospitality settings, it lends itself to service, display or staging, as it easily adapts to changing needs throughout the day.

Available in a range of timeless, muted tones or more playful, expressive colours, the Museum Trolley integrates into varied interiors, rolling into place wherever it’s needed next.
