Laitala is a third-generation family-owned furniture manufacturer founded in 1932 and one of Finland’s oldest continuously operating furniture makers. Our best-known collection, Finnish Rococo, is based on designs by Werner West, one of the pioneers of Finnish furniture design. We create furniture inspired by historic interior styles for homes, commercial spaces and public interiors, while also manufacturing contract furniture and wooden components for business customers. Combining Jurva’s long woodworking tradition with modern production methods, we are known for our high-quality craftsmanship, bespoke solutions and expertise in heritage projects.
