Habitare Pro is the trade show division of the fair and is an enhanced platform dedicated to B2B companies for the business of design.
Providing a unique platform to meet, network, and promote business relationships and showcase new products to a targeted audience. We help facilitate business opportunities with leading architects and design industry professionals, developers, buyers, specifiers, and the press.
Following the success of the Habitare Pro launch in 2023, which increased professional visitor numbers exceeding 100% has solidly reinforced the trade show division of the fair.
Habitare Pro encompasses a central bar, meeting lounge, and networking area, which is host to the exclusive Pro networking party, plugging you directly into the Nordic cool design scene.
Habitare Pro is open from Wednesday to Sunday. Design industry professionals and students can visit Habitare free of charge by registering in advance.

Networking
Meet industry peers and build valuable connections in the relaxed and inspiring atmosphere of the Habitare Pro Lounge. Open throughout the event, the Lounge offers curated programming and expert-led workshops designed to spark ideas and conversation.
The space is thoughtfully designed to support both spontaneous encounters and scheduled meetings, featuring a bar, versatile seating areas, interactive tables for note-taking, and quiet zones ideal for focused discussions.

Workshops
From Wednesday to Friday, Habitare Pro Lounge will host workshops aligned with the themes of each Focus Day.
These interactive sessions take place in a relaxed, conversational setting and offer the chance to dive into current topics alongside leading experts from various fields. The workshops are designed to deepen the daily themes and complement the overall Habitare Pro programme.
Full workshop topics and schedules will be announced closer to the event.
Professional Focus Days
New for this year, Habitare Pro will feature an Architecture focus day and a Buyer focus day featuring content related to these topics. These will be delivered in the form of Pro Design Talks on the main stage and hands-on workshops in the Pro Lounge. In addition, there will be focused sessions such as speed dating, where designers and manufacturers can meet face to face.

Pro Design Talks
Topical talks will feature inspirational content and in-depth dialogue with industry leaders and selected panellists. Our professional talks program aims to inspire, bring together architects, designers, thinkers, and academics.
Our speakers are selected for quality and professionalism in their work and industry, including thought leaders, designers, and trend analysts in design-led discussions.
Pro Design Talks take place across 3 days from Wednesday to Friday at the main stage. All talks are free to attend, and seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Habitare Pro Party
A night designed for connection and celebration. Join us on Wednesday, opening day of Habitare, for the Habitare Pro Party — the unmissable evening gathering for design and architecture professionals.
Enjoy live music, inspiring company, and a vibrant atmosphere where ideas and people come together.

Habitare Pro x Grano
During Habitare Pro, Finland’s B2B design trade fair, Grano has produced two showstopping installations in the form of an interactive workshop structure and a central bar, all made from cardboard. Designed by BoardWalk, an innovative company creating high-quality, environmentally responsible furniture, products, and installations from folded cardboard with materials provided by Vink.

During Habitare in September, Helsinki’s central showrooms open their doors to design enthusiasts and professionals alike. Showrooms Habitare invites you to explore a curated series of inspiring encounters, immersive events, and the latest design launches – all as part of Habitare’s official programme.
This year, every showroom, event, and location is easy to discover through a mobile-friendly map and company listings available on the Habitare website.
Events PRO – Your go-to Networking App
We’re excited to introduce Events PRO, the official event app of Messukeskus, soon to be available for Habitare Pro.
