A bold colour palette of blues, yellows and oranges adds personality to this chromatic, playful workspace, realised by Omhu for Podimo Norway
Oslo-based studio Omhu has completed a vibrant workspace for the Norwegian podcast platform Podimo, using a bright and cheerful colour palette complemented by warmer wooden tones.
Located in the heart of Oslo, the Podimo Norway office features the building’s original restored brick walls and bespoke pieces, including a spiral magazine holder by Swedish artist and designer Gustav Westman.

Furniture comes courtesy of Variable, who filled the interior with iconic Norwegian furniture designs like Terje Ekstrøm’s tubular Ekstrem chair and Peter Opsvik’s ergonomic rocking stool.
The designers explain that the goal was to create a space that fosters creativity, collaboration and a sense of belonging. This was especially important for a company that operates entirely in a digital format.
To achieve this, Omhu focused on incorporating two complementary material and colour palettes, customised to the workspace’s two user groups – the podcast creators and the Podimo team.

The office has an open layout with minimal barriers between workspaces and rooms. Omhu used a soothing palette in employee-focused areas, such as the communal breakout zones, to support employee wellbeing after long hours spent on digital devices.
This colourful theme continues in Podimo’s creator-focused areas. Upon entering the space, visitors are greeted by an all-blue wardrobe, which comes complete with a full-length mirror.
In the lobby, the designers used splashes of red, while quirky objects add personality. Particularly noteworthy is a vibrant table featuring orange and yellow tiles by ceramic firm Palet.

A more delicate use of colour was applied in the meeting spaces, which remain bright and airy to boost productivity. With warm, glowing paper lamps and soft pink curtains for privacy, the space serves as an oasis of calm.
The employee palette draws from the same tonal range but applies it with restraint, introducing colour in subtle pops rather than the saturated environments created for the creator zones.
Omhu curated the interior down to the last detail. From art and plants to accessories, the designers considered how smaller decorative objects add depth and texture to the space.

Desks are paired with classic vintage Luxo lamps in playful candy reds and vibrant oranges, while fresh plants are scattered around the office to improve air quality and reduce stress.
Thoughtfully selected desk items, relevant reads and design-forward kitchen and lounge accessories add layers of brand character through bright, colourful touches in Podimo Norway’s workspace.
This is further complemented by a curated selection of artworks, photographs and prints by Nordic artists and photographers. The result is a playful office that feels as good as it looks.
