Arktis presents Rework and new collections at Habitare
Arktis invites architects, interior architects and public interior professionals to explore new solutions for more adaptable, long-lasting and responsibly renewed furniture.
At Habitare, we present Arktis Rework together with new and redesigned collections for public spaces, learning environments, lounges, lobbies and other shared interiors.

Rework — bringing value back to furniture
Arktis Rework rethinks how contract furniture is used over time. Instead of replacing worn pieces, Rework focuses on reuse, remodelling and renewal through professional reupholstery, refinishing and adaptation. The concept gives existing Arktis furniture a new life and supports more resource-conscious interior projects.
Rework helps architects and clients extend the lifespan of furniture, update interiors with lower material impact and create renewed solutions from existing pieces. It is our response to a changing market where durability, repairability and smarter use of resources are becoming increasingly important.

New and updated collections
Huup — expanded modular seating
Huup, created by Jouni Leino, is a modular seating collection for flexible public interiors. The collection has grown significantly and now includes new additions such as integrated tables and armrests. With its adaptable modules, Huup supports changing layouts in lobbies, corridors, lounges, cultural spaces, educational environments and offices.
The expanded Huup collection will be officially launched at Habitare.
Pausa — completely redesigned
The Pausa collection by Kari Asikainen has been completely redesigned for even more versatile seating solutions. The collection includes lounge chairs, sofas, benches and connecting modules that can be combined in multiple ways, with options for integrated tables, different upholstery choices and project-specific finishes.
Pausa is designed for compact, flexible and easy-to-maintain public interiors where comfort, modularity and long-term usability are essential.
Helma — new modular seating collection
Helma is a completely new collection by Mikko Halonen, launching at Habitare. The collection includes seating modules and a coffee table, offering a soft and adaptable solution for public lounge areas, waiting spaces, informal meeting zones and shared interiors.
Helma brings a new, softer expression to the Arktis range while continuing the company’s focus on high-quality materials, carefully considered details and furniture made for demanding public use.
Pikku-Kari — children’s furniture for public spaces
Pikku-Kari, designed by Kari Asikainen, complements the existing Kari series with a children’s furniture collection. Created for environments such as daycares, learning spaces and children’s areas in public interiors, Pikku-Kari brings the recognisable character and durability of the Kari family into a smaller scale.
The collection offers a considered solution for spaces where durability, usability and a warm, approachable design language are especially important.
