Visual artist Joonas Vähäsöyrinki creates paintings, printmaking works, and ceramic art in a studio bathed in the light of the North. The beauty of nature, its delicate details, and its subtle light are captured on canvas. Hands sink into clay, shaping ceramic artworks. A printing press transfers colors onto paper, giving rise to fine art prints.
Joonas also designs printed products and gift items based on his artwork under the Muusa Design brand.
A blank surface – anything is possible!
“I remember my childhood thoughts as I sat in front of a blank sheet of paper. I saw the empty surface as both an opportunity and a challenge—one I did not want to simply pass by. I embraced the challenge: I drew, painted, and kept trying again and again.
That is exactly what I still do today as a professional artist. For me, art is an endless journey of exploration and experimentation, and a constant source of inspiration. I always strive forward and seek to develop myself as an artist.
