Habitare Materials
Habitare Materials is a new kind of interactive material library at Habitare, where visitors can explore surface materials and experiment with combinations of different materials for their projects and purchases. As a visitor, you can choose, combine, and arrange the displayed material samples to create your own collage on the collage table, which you can capture and share. Additionally, you will receive product information from manufacturers for the materials you like, helping with future purchases.
The goal is to provide a participative exhibition experience for the visitors, increase material awareness, and enable a new way of participation for material manufacturers.

Welcome to Habitare Materials 2025
In spring 2025, Habitare Materials & Objects received a fantastic reception at Milan Design Week, as part of the internationally acclaimed Alcova exhibition. This success story continues in Finland, as a piece of Milan will be showcased at Habitare on 10–14 September 2025.

Habitare Materials is a loved and inclusive library of materials that is accessible to all.
It’s a place to browse, experiment, create and learn more about the possibilities of materials from different material manufacturers and suppliers. The exhibition received great exposure in Milan and its success proved that it is not just an exhibition – but a unique concept with international appeal and real relevance in the design field.

Bjelin Finland
LIFELONG WOODEN FLOOR
Nordic hardened Woodura plank floors match the Finnish color scheme in terms of colors and assortments. Their entire surface layer is hardened with ceramic wood composite, and therefore, they are superior, durable real wood floors. Metsä Fibre
Metsä Groupiin kuuluva Metsä Fibre esittelee Habitare Materialsin näyttelyssä kevyen, sellupohjaisen kuitumateriaalin, joka on muokattavuutensa ja visuaalisuutensa ansiosta monikäyttöinen ratkaisu esimerkiksi sisustus- ja tilaratkaisuissa, eristekomponenttina sekä suojamateriaalina.
