Valon tekijät on lontoolaisen arkkitehtuuri- ja designtoimisto Conran & Partnersin tulkinta Secto Designin maailmasta.
Installaatio kokoaa yhteen suomalaisen koivun, käsityöosaamisen sekä pohjoisen luonnon ja valon – elementit, jotka ovat inspiroineet Secto Designin muotoilua alusta alkaen.
Triptyykin on suunnitellut Conran & Partnersin Senior Designer Amy Blight työryhmineen, ja sen ovat toteuttaneet Secto Designin Heinolan tehtaan osaavat tekijät. Se kutsuu katsomaan, mistä Secto Designin valaisinmallisto syntyy – muotoilun, materiaalin, ja käsityön kautta.
The making of light is the London-based architecture and design practice Conran and Partners’ interpretation of the world of Secto Design. The installation brings together Finnish birch, craftsmanship, and the distinctive qualities of northern nature and light – the elements that have inspired Secto Design from the very beginning.
Designed by Senior Designer Amy Blight and the Conran and Partners team, the triptych was brought to life by the skilled craftspeople at Secto Design’s factory in Heinola, Finland. It invites visitors to discover what the Secto Design lighting collection is built on – through design, material, and making.
