Minja Kolehmainen, the only artist and cabinetmaker in Finland who lives and works in a mobile workshop, brings her workshop and home to the Habitare Fair.
Her charming camper van has been transformed into her home and wood carving workshop, where she carves unique wooden sculptures by hand. She creates large installations as well as smaller pieces for private and public spaces.
The sculptures bring peace, comfort, and tranquility to their surroundings. Many of the pieces are tactile, allowing the viewer to form a stronger connection with the artwork, the moment, and themselves. The viewer can feel the calming energy and natural power of the wood.

For three years, Kolehmainen has traveled across Europe with her mobile workshop, living and sculpting amidst nature.
